Effective January 1, 2005, Wakonda is no longer open to the general public for camping.  A few selected sites are available from the co-op corporation for sale as co-op units.

Gene & Marlene Ostertag express their sincere gratitude to the many campers who have visited and enjoyed Wakonda during thirty-three seasons since 1972.  They remain in residence at Wakonda, and they welcome visitors.
